What time should I arrive, and where do we meet?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time. We meet at Peratrovich Plaza downtown for both the morning (10:45 am) and afternoon (3:30 pm) tours. Your guide will be waiting to greet you at the small Plaza sign.

How long is the tour?

Each brewery tour lasts 3.75 hours, with stops at three local breweries, and 2 scenic viewpoints.

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes, you must bring a valid ID showing you’re 21 or older to participate in the tour, as alcohol is served at each stop.

What is included?

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Tours cancelled more than 24 hours before departure will be refunded 100%. Tours cancelled less than 24 hours before the tour are non-refundable.

No-shows are not refundable.

Are there restroom facilities along the way?

Yes, each brewery has restroom facilities available for our guests.

Are photos allowed?

Absolutely! We’ll even stop at Brotherhood Bridge and “The Whale”, where you can take photos of Juneau’s stunning scenery.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?

Our vans may have limited accessibility, so please contact us before booking to discuss any specific needs, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What happens if it rains?

Rain is common in Juneau, and our tours operate rain or shine! We encourage guests to bring a rain jacket or umbrella for the outdoor stops just in case.

As one of Juneau’s few ‘indoor’ activities, a local brewery tour is one of the best things to do in town when its stormy! You don’t have to worry about muddy trails, high seas, or foggy skies on our tour!

Which breweries are included on the tour?

Our tour includes stops at Devil’s Club Brewing Co., Alaskan Brewing Co., and Forbidden Peak Brewery. Each brewery offers a unique experience with craft beer samples and insights from local brewers.

Will there be any snacks provided?

Yes, there will be Barnacle Kelp Salsa and chips provided at Alaskan Brewing Co. However, we recommend having a meal before the tour, as alcohol is served.

Are there beverages for non-beer drinkers?

Yes, the breweries have a limited selection of other craft made alcoholic drinks like hard seltzers, ready to drink cocktails, and ciders. The selection varies through the season.

All breweries have great non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase or as a replacement for the beer tastings.

Can I bring children or non-drinkers on the tour?

Children over the age of 10 may join their parent or guardians on the tour. Please be prepared to show proof that you are the minor’s guardian.

There are non-alcoholic drink options at each brewery.

What should I wear?

Juneau weather can be unpredictable, so dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes. We recommend a rain jacket and sturdy walking shoes, as we will be getting in and out of the van, and there may be some walking at each stop.

Is transportation included, and where will I be dropped off?

Yes, transportation is provided between all stops, and we’ll bring you back to Peratrovich Plaza in downtown Juneau at the end of the tour.

Will I see any local wildlife on the tour?

While wildlife sightings aren’t guaranteed, there is a good chance of seeing eagles, the occasional bear, and maybe even a real live whale at “The Whale”.

What is the maximum group size?

Our tours accommodate 2 to 15 guests per tour, with small groups to ensure a personalized experience.

How do I book a tour?

You can book directly through our website. Spots fill up fast during the summer season, so we recommend booking in advance!
