About Alaska on Tap

Our mission: To share Juneau the way locals live it, through Alaskan craft beer, genuine stories, and the stunning scenery that makes our capital unique. -Peter and Katie

Our Story

We started Alaska On Tap the way a lot of good Alaska ideas begin, over a pint at Forbidden Peak Brewery, looking out across Auke Bay. That moment reminded us why we love living here: even on gray, rainy days, Juneau is stunning. We wanted to create a tour that captured that feeling, something real, local, and unmistakably Alaskan.

As long-time locals, we’ve watched Juneau’s craft-beer scene grow into a community of brewers who pour their passion into every pint. We built Alaska On Tap to share more than the beer itself, to introduce visitors to the people, stories, and wild scenery that make this corner of Alaska unforgettable. Our tours are small-group, locally guided, and designed to fit the limited time most guests have in port, a relaxed, weather-proof way to experience the real Juneau.

What makes our tours truly special is the collective spirit of the breweries we partner with. They’re the heart of Juneau’s creative community, each with its own flavors, personality, and story. When you join one of our tours, you’re tasting that collaboration: a celebration of local craft, told one pour and one breathtaking view at a time.
